The British Library has launched "Web in Feb"– a series of events that examine online trends and help small firms to grow using e-commerce and web marketing.
The British Library Business & IP Centre programme aims to provide start-ups and small businesses with the key information they need to trade online and improve their web presence.
Workshops and seminars during the month include search engine optimisation for small business, manage your business on the web, and the cutting edge of social media. Events range in price, with many being free to attend.
Throughout the month, patent attorney David Warrilow will also run free and confidential half-hour sessions to help attendees develop their technology.
"The Business & IP Centre's Web in Feb events will provide the practical tools, advice and inspiration for small businesses to use the internet to develop their brand awareness, target new audiences and launch in overseas markets," said a British Library spokesperson.
